Organic Ginger Tea


One of my favorite drinks in winter is ginger tea. It has several health benefits and few side effects. It can be purchased as tea bags or made by boiling ginger root. Adding a little lemon gives a nice flavor.

It helps digestion.
It relieves indigestion, heartburn and gas and helps the body absorb nutrients.
It has been used to relieve nausea, morning sickness and car sickness.
It calms irritable bowel syndrome.
It helps against muscle fatigue after working out.
It assists in balancing glucose levels.
It improves circulation.
It is a natural pain reliever.
It clears the sinuses.
It strengthens immunity.
It is commonly used for bronchitis, coughs and respiratory tract infections.

Risks of Ginger Tea.


There are very few risks associated with ginger tea. High doses of ginger could cause a skin rash or mouth irritation. Caution is required when taking ginger supplements, especially if pregnant or taking medication. In such cases, it is better to consult a health practitioner.
